Show Jumping - Local Regional #1
The first show of the season...this is mostly meant to see what works and what doesn't as far as how shows will be organized and run on this site. Future shows of any discipline may be eventually hosted and judged through a slightly different system.
This show will not have multiple classes within it, but this discipline among the others most likely will in the future. You'll have one shot at this one. For future shows, however, you may enter more than one of your horses.
Show Overview
As a small beginner's show, the course is a simple series of 10 jumps, either cross-rails or verticals not exceeding 2 feet for a single class.
Required Tack: Jumping Saddle - Jumping Bridle (Flash) - Square and Half Pads
Optional Tack: Running Martingale - Jumping Breastplate - Splint Boots, Bell Boots, or Polo Wraps - Crop
Payout
Entry Fee: $30
Prizes:
1st Place: $100
2nd Place: $75
3rd Place: $50
All Others: $45
Local/regional shows typically don't payout like this, if at all. It's better than nothing.
